Pacers Lose To Raptors In Game 7

Last updated on Monday, May 2, 2016

(TORONTO, CAN) - The Pacers saw their playoff run come to an end with an 89-84 Game 7 loss to the Raptors.

DeMar DeRozan torched Indiana for 30 points while Jonas Valanciunas had a 10 points and 15 rebounds to advance Toronto into the second-round of the playoffs for the first time since 2001.

Paul George led the Blue & Gold with 26 points and 12 rebounds while George Hill scored 19.

"He's still probably one of the most poised and under-control players I've guarded," PG-13 said of DeRozan.

George struggled down the stretch, making only 2 of 8 attempts in the second half. He admitted after the game he was running on empty.

"I ran out of gas a little bit. I'm not going to try and sit here and be Superman. I definitely was winded late in the game."

The Pacers cut a 14-point fourth quarter deficit down to three but never got closer than that.

The Raptors will take on the Miami Heat in the second round.
