Raptors Tie Up Series With Pacers

Last updated on Tuesday, April 19, 2016

(TORONTO, CAN) - Jonas Valanciunas scored a playoff career-high 23 points and led the Raptors past the Pacers in a 98-87 Game 2 win to even up the series.

Valanciunas also had 15 rebounds while Kyle Lowry had 18 points, nine assists and seven rebounds of his own.

Paul George led all scorers with 28 points but Monta Ellis was the only other Pacer to score in double-figures with 15.

"He's been huge, literally," PG-13 said of Valanciunas. "We're doing a good job on Kyle and DeMar but the third guy, Valanciunas, has stepped up. He's who's causing us the problems right now and we've got to figure it out."

Frank Vogel seemed to concur with his All-Star's perspective, saying,"We've got our hands full with their frontcourt."

The series now shifts to Indianapolis for the next two games with Game 3 scheduled for Thursday night.
