Pacers Defeat Knicks, Claim Seventh Seed In Playoffs

Last updated on Wednesday, April 13, 2016

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Pacers took care of business with a 102-90 victory over the New York Knicks.

The win combined with Detroit's loss to Miami secured the seventh seed in the East for Indiana.

Paul George and George Hill each scored 19 points while Myles Turner added 13. The Blue & Gold shot 51 percent from the field in their regular-season home finale while the Knicks were without both Carmelo Anthony and Kristaps Porzingis. The Pacers outscored the Knicks 18-4 in the fast break.

"The ball was moving and we played defense," PG-13 said after the game. "We got some stops and got easy opportunities, a lot of transition plays. That's really where the game opened up for us."

The Pacers will play the Toronto Raptors in the first round of the playoffs but still have one more regular season game before the postseason. Indiana will travel to Milwaukee to take on the Bucks tonight with tip-off at 8pm.
