Colts To Return To Anderson For Training Camp

Last updated on Thursday, March 31, 2016

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Colts officially announced they will be returning to Anderson University for their training camp this summer.

It will mark the seventh straight season the Colts will head northeast to the Division III campus.

Dates and times have yet to be announced but an earlier start date is expected due to the team's participation in this year's Hall of Fame game on August 7th.

The Collective Bargaining Agreement states teams cannot report to training camp earlier than 15 days prior to their preseason opener, which means the Colts could report as early as July 23rd.

The Colts also made a pair of minor moves on Wednesday as they signed tight end Mike McFarland and waived offensive tackle Pierce Burton.

McFarland was an undrafted free agent from the University of South Florida last season and signed with the Houston Texans before being placed on injured reserve in late August.

Burton was signed to a reseve/future contract at the end of the season after spending the final five weeks on the regular-season on the Colts' practice squad.
