Reports: Colts Expected To Move On From Hasselbeck

Last updated on Monday, February 29, 2016

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) Reports say the Colts are expected to move on from quarterback Matt Hasselbeck.

Multiple sources say despite being told recently by Chuck Pagano that the organization would 'love to have him back' the team has told the 40-year old quarterback he is not in their 2016 plans.

Hasselbeck started eight games last season when Andrew Luck missed the second half of the season with a lacerated kidney.

The veteran QB led Indianapolis to a 5-3 record as the starter and threw for 1,690 yards, nine touchdowns and five interceptions.

The Colts will turn to Josh Freeman as their main backup to Andrew Luck.
