Report: Andre Johnson Has "Played His Last Down In Indianapolis"

Last updated on Thursday, February 25, 2016

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The NFL’s Ian Rapoport is reporting that Andre Johnson is one-and-done with the Colts, saying the wide receiver has “played his last down in Indianapolis.”

Johnson's agent told the Houston Chronicle that the 34-year old isn't thinking about retirement and is preparing for next season.

If the Colts cut Johnson, they will endure a $7.5 million dollar cap hit. The Colts signed Johnson to a three-year, $21 million last March after he was released by the Houston Texans.

Elsewhere, Colts coach Chuck Pagano has reportedly reached out to backup quarterback Matt Hasselbeck and told the veteran that if he chooses to return for another season that the Colts 'would love to have him back'.
