Pacers Survive Late Against Magic

Last updated on Monday, February 22, 2016

(ORLANDO, FL) - The Pacers overcame their own mistakes and edged the Orlando Magic 105-102.

Monta Ellis led Indiana with 21 points while Paul George had 20 points and six assists.

It was a sloppy first half for the Blue & Gold that saw 17 of their 21 turnovers and the Pacers shot only 9-of-25 in the fourth quarter.

"We knew what kind of game we were getting ourselves into," Ellis said. "We got the turnovers under control in the second half and that's why we won."

Frank Vogel said Ellis' play has gone a long way with the team.

"He's showing great will, he's stepping up. He sort of challenged everybody on the team to bring their best and when you do that you have to bring your own best, and he's certainly doing that."

Six Pacers scored in double-figures, including a pair of 14-point performances from Ian Mahimi and C.J. Miles.

The Pacers have won three of their last four games and are 2-0 on their three-game road trip. They'll look to finish it off a perfect 3-0 tonight when they visit the Miami Heat at 7:30pm.
