Last updated on Thursday, February 18, 2016

(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - Troy Williams led the Hoosiers with 18 points in an 80-64 romp of Nebraska to pull into a tie for the Big Ten lead.

Earlier in the night No. 4 Iowa was stunned by Penn State 79-75.

Robert Johnson scored 13 points while Juwan Morgan added 12 off of the bench. IU shot 53 percent from the field and 43 percent from 3-point range.

For the Cornhuskers, Jack McVeigh led with 17 points while Andrew White had 15.

Tom Crean lauded his team's performance after the game.

"Our players played with tremendous energy. Our guys played extremely hard. It was great to see and it helped slow down what Nebraska was trying to do."

The Hoosiers next take on No. 17 Purdue on Saturday.
