Power Outage Delays Pacers Game Tuesday Night

Last updated on Wednesday, January 13, 2016

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Pacers returned home after a four-game road trip and cruised past the Phoenix Suns 116-97 in a lights-out performance, literally.

A power outage in central Indiana affected Banker's Life Fieldhouse in the second quarter causing a 22-minute delay in action.

The Pacers didn't allow the dead time to slow their play as Paul George scored 21 points, leading five players in double figures. PG-13 added 7 rebounds while George Hill scored 20 points and C.J. Miles came off the bench and scored 19.

The Blue & Gold shot just under 52 percent from the field while holding Phoenix to 40.4 percent.

"This one was weird, being in the middle of a quarter," Paul George said after the game about the power outage. "We did a good job of being ready when the lights came back on."

The Pacers had just one game at home before getting right back on the road. They visit the Boston Celtics tonight at 8pm.
