Pagano: "I Have Zero Regrets"

Last updated on Monday, January 4, 2016

(Indianapolis, IN) - A disappointing Colts season came to an end with a 30-24 victory over the Tennessee Titans.

Josh Freeman got the start for the Colts, completing 15 of 28 for 149 yards and a touchdown while Ryan Lindley worked mostly two minute drill situations and went 6 of 10 for 58 yards and a touchdown.

Indianapolis did their part by winning but needed nine other outcomes to go their way to qualify for the postseason, they did not. The Colts finish the season 8-8 and all the attention now shifts to the fates of both Chuck Pagano and General Manager Ryan Grigson.

Pagano received a game ball from the team in the locker room and players all agreed that if they had their choice Pagano would return.

"Love that guy. I've only been here for a year but I can see why everyone in this locker room wants him back," defensive end Kendall Langford said.

Pagano noted in his postgame press conference that he will meet with owner Jim Irsay on Monday.

Meanwhile, Pagano was reflective in his postgame press conference and said he wouldn't change a thing.

"I have zero regrets. I am grateful for this job, these players, these coaches, this opportunity that was given to me by Mr. Irsay. There was a time when I didn't even know if I was going to be around but he had my back. As far as the season, when you lose your starting quarterback and your backup goes 5-3 and then you lose him and bring in guys off the street that win games for you, that's just a phenomenal thing. I have no regrets."
