Hoosiers Edge Badgers At Home

Last updated on Wednesday, January 6, 2016

(Bloomington, IN) - It was a defensive effort by the Hoosiers that helped them get by Wisconsin 59-58 and win their eighth straight game.

Yogi Ferrell was Indiana's main source of offense with 19 points while OG Anunoby and Thomas Bryant were the only other two players to score in double digits for the Hoosiers.

Tom Crean said his team learned from past mistakes.

"In the past, immaturity could have kicked in in a hurry and you get disappointed and discouraged when you're not making baskets and all of a sudden, the runs turn into routs. We never let that happen tonight."

Indiana got some bad news on Tuesday as James Blackmon Jr. is expected to miss the rest of the season with a right knee injury.

The Hoosiers go for their ninth straight win when they host the Ohio State Buckeyes on Sunday.
