(Indianapolis, IN) - Adam Vinateri has been named the AFC Special Teams Player of the Month for November.
The 42-year old hit all 11 field goal attempts and is the only kicker in the league with at least 10 attempts to make them all. It was the first time Vinateri has won the award since being a member of the Colts.
Vinateri also discussed Sunday's matchup against the Steelers and said kicking at Heinz Field in Pittsbugh is one of the more challenging stadiums in the league.
"You never know what the weather will be, it could be sunny during pre-game and then five minutes before kickoff it's snowing and there are swirling wins. It's a challenging place but it's a fun place to play."
