Swanigan Dominant As Boilermakers Move To 10-0

Last updated on Thursday, December 10, 2015

(West Lafayette, IN) - Caleb Swanigan scored a career-high 19 points as No. 11 Purdue thumped the Bison of Howard 93-55.

The McDonald's All-American added 12 rebounds to his stat sheet as the Boilermakers improved to 10-0 for the first time since winning the first 14 games in the 2009-10 campaign.

Purdue dominated the first half, outscoring Howard 56-24.

Teammate P.J. Thompson said Swanigan is playing like a veteran.

"I think people forget he is a freshman, even though he's a highly touted freshman and a high school All-American. Tonight, he let the game come to him."

Purdue hosts Youngstown State on Saturday.
