Pagano Hopeful That Hasselbeck Will Return To Practice

Last updated on Tuesday, December 15, 2015

(Indianapolis, IN) - As the Colts try to put Sunday’s blowout loss to the Jaguars behind them, Mike Adams said the team has one option left on their season.

"Win. That's my answer all week is just win because nothing else matters. Everybody counted us out, everyone is off the bandwagon, we've got nothing to lose, just win."

When it comes to who will start at quarterback on Sunday against the Texans Matt Hasselbeck was in a sling and Chuck Pagano said he's hopeful he'll practice on Wednesday, while Andrew Luck said he is not 100 percent but said he also hopes to practice. He said even if he does practice that doesn't indicate he will play Sunday, as it's up to the coaching staff and training staff to make that determination.

Reports close to the team said the Colts are not optimistic that Luck will play Sunday and may miss the remainder of the season entirely.

Chuck Pagano was asked if he was at all worried about his job security during this tumultuous season, to which he responded, "The can fire you, but they can't eat you. So if the worst thing is a year from now I'm in Boise playing with my granddaughters, I'm going to be fine going down that road."

Pagano did emphasize he didn't anticipate being fired and that he has confidence his team can still achieve their season goals.
