Pacers Set Team Record For 3-pointers In Victory Over Wizards

Last updated on Wednesday, November 25, 2015

(Washington D.C.) - The Pacers began a stretch of five-out-of-six games on the road last night in our nation’s capital by defeating the Washington Wizards 123-106 for their third straight win.

Paul George and CJ Miles combined for career nights as the two knocked down 15 of 17 three-point attempts. George finished with 40 points, while CJ Miles added 32 of his own, good for the most he has scored in a single game while with the Pacers.

Miles said after the game that he and George are beginning to become a lethal combination.

"We've been talking about making people try and pick their poison," Miles said. "I just try and move in the gaps and find spaces and be aggressive when I get my chances."

As a team, the Blue and Gold set a franchise record for threes in a game hitting 19 of 26 three point attempts on the night for an NBA record 73% shooting percentage from long-distance.

George Hill made his return as well after missing the last three games with an upper respiratory infection scoring 14 points in 32 minutes.

After last night's win, The Blue and Gold have won nine of their past 11 games and will try for four consecutive wins on Friday as the Chicago Bulls visit Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
