Colts React To Pep Hamilton's Firing

Last updated on Thursday, November 5, 2015

(Indianapolis, IN) - As the Colts returned from a day off, it was the first time they were able to comment on the firing of Pep Hamilton.

For Chuck Pagano, he talked about the reason for the change.

"This was not a knee jerk reaction. This was nothing other than something I felt we needed. We needed a change. brings a fresh perspective, he knows this offense and he knows our strengths and weaknesses."

Andrew Luck said it's never fun to see someone like Hamilton get fired.

"It definitely feels like a gut punch. It isn't easy but we have to move on and I think we have. We trust coach Pagano's plan, his vision, and I know this locker room is on the same page and that's what we have to do to go out and win."

T.Y. Hilton underwent an MRI on Wednesday to determine if he's dealing with a significant foot injury, according to Mike Chappell. The Colts wideout is reportedly dealing with a sprained left foot and his status for Sunday's game against the Broncos is said to be up in the air.

Meanwhile, Ian Rappaport is reporting that Andrew Luck is considered fully healthy after dealing with rib and shoulder injuries earlier this season.
