Colts Fire Offensive Coordinator Pep Hamilton

Last updated on Wednesday, November 4, 2015

(Indianapolis, IN) The Colts 3-5 start is not something anyone saw coming and on Tuesday the first domino fell as the organization parted ways with offensive coordinator Pep Hamilton.

In a statement issued by the team Chuck Pagano said, "Through the first eight weeks of the season, we have felt our offense hasn't performed at the constant level that we need. Because of this we've decided to go in a different direction and relieve Pep Hamilton of his duties as offensive coordinator. As head coach of the team it's my responsibility to make sure I'm doing everything we can to put in the best position to succeed."

The Colts rank 16th in the league in yards per game and 20th in points.

Rob Chudzinski takes over as offensive coordinator.
