Paul George Lifts Pacers Past Pistons

Last updated on Wednesday, October 7, 2015

(Detroit, MI) - The Pacers knocked off the Pistons with a 115-112 win.

Paul George was red hot, scoring a game-high 32 points, including 5-of-9 from three-point range while rookie Joe Young knocked down 18 points of his own.

After the game, Frank Vogel said George's performance is what he and team President Larry Bird envisioned when they moved him to power forward.

"He's going to be explosive with the small lineup and the big lineup. He played most of his minutes at the four, but he's going to be great in both lineups when he's aggressive like that and making good decisions."

Stanley Johnson led Detroit with 26 points.

The Pacers continue their preseason slate on Thursday when they host the Orlando Magic.
