Pagano: "This Team Needed To Get Back To Work"

Last updated on Thursday, October 29, 2015

(Indianapolis, IN) - The Colts don’t normally practice on Wednesdays if they have a game scheduled for Monday Night Football but Chuck Pagano said given the circumstances, he felt it was necessary.

"This team needed to get back to work, we needed to get on the field. There was no better medicine for us than to get back and practice."

The Colts head coach said the Panthers and Cam Newton are a nightmare to prepare for.

"That guy is a rare, rare, rare talent. He's a matchup nightmare. He can beat you running, by throwing, he can do it all. Then you have their running game and defense on top of that and we will have our hands full."

Meanwhile, Andrew Luck said the team is ready to fast-forward to Monday night and get back on the field.

"I know I'm excited, I know the team is excited. The best medicine is getting back out there and playing and I think guys take that to heart. We had a great practice today and we'll keep on rolling."
