Colts Stumble Against Saints

Last updated on Monday, October 26, 2015

(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Colts came out flat against the Saints and never recovered as New Orleans topped Indianapolis 27-21, dropping the boys in blue to their second straight loss and 3-4 on the season.

Mark Ingram torched the Colts for 143 yards and a touchdown on the ground while Drew Brees threw for 255 yards, a touchdown and an interception.

For the Colts, Andrew Luck was inconsistent, despite throwing for three touchdowns and 333 yards, he also threw two interceptions.

Meanwhile, Griff Whalen, who was one week removed from his role in what many dubbed the "dumbest play in football", fumbled the ball three times.

The Colts also look to have lost first-round pick Phillip Dorsett for a considerable amount of time as reports say he fractured his ankle and may miss 4-6 weeks or the remainder of the season.

Chuck Pagano said he was disappointed with the first half effort by the team and said they need to get things corrected in a hurry. The Colts' next three opponents (Carolina, Denver, Atlanta) are a combined 18-1 on the season.
