Josh McNary Joins Colts Main Roster

(Indianapolis, IN) - The Colts have promoted Josh McNary to their main roster.

The linebacker spent only one week on the practice squad before filling the vacated spot of running back Vick Ballard.

The team also signed running back Zurlon Tipton and guard Robert Myers to the practice squad and released defensive tackle Jeris Pendleton.

Jets' head coach Todd Bowles said that his defense will have a tall order when they line up across from Andrew Luck and company on Monday night.

"It isn't just him, they have a great offense all around. They're at least four deep at wide receiver, they have talented tight ends and then you have Frank Gore staring at you from the backfield so it isn't going to be easy for us."

Bowles also didn't rule out cornerback Antonio Cromartie, saying the veteran suffered a knee sprain and not a torn ACL as originally feared but said Cromartie has to prove in practice that he is 100% in order to play.
