Herron Released By Colts, 10 Others Added To Practice Squad

Last updated on Monday, September 7, 2015

(Indianapolis) - The final preseason game was costly to the Colts.

Boom Herron suffered a shoulder injury on a kick return and has since been waived-injured by the team.

The team also waived linebacker Armarlo Herrera. Meantime, they claimed defensive tackle T.Y. McGill from Seattle and rookie guard Robert Myers from Baltimore off of waivers.

In other news: It's been a very difficult year for Josh McNary, who was accused of rape with a woman in Indianapolis. Late last week, he was acquitted and then on Sunday, three days later, the Colts signed him to their practice squad.

McNary is one of 10 players signed to the practice squad. The group also included wide-out Duron Carter, safety Dewey McDonald, and linebacker Daniel Adongo.
