(Bloomington) - Sophomore big man Emmitt Holt issued an apology Sunday, one week after being kicked off the IU basketball program following his second alcohol-related incident.
Holt, who was poised to be a key reserve this upcoming season, has decided to continue his basketball career at Indian Hills Community College in Iowa.
In a statement, Holt recognizes that his dismissal was a consequence of his actions and says that he promises "to learn from my mistakes."
