Ravens Deny Contacting Colts Before AFC Championship Game

Last updated on Thursday, August 6, 2015

(Baltimore, MD) - The Baltimore Ravens firmly denied ever contacting the Colts ahead of the AFC Championship Game and warning them about game balls against the Patriots.

The organization released a press release and head coach John Harbaugh echoed those statements, flatly denying the report.

"Any conversation we had with the Colts didn't have anything to do with deflated footballs. There was a phone call between coach Rosburg and coach Pagano but it was about a special teams substitution that happened. All I know is we've answered all questions directly and honestly. I haven't cared at all about deflated footballs or anything else. We stand by what we said."
