(West Lafayette, IN) - Purdue received a verbal commitment for its 2016 recruiting class.
Point guard Carsen Edwards of Humble, Texas is the first member of the Boilermakers' 2016 recruiting class.
The 6-footer averaged 23 points per game and was named Player of the Year by the Houston Chronicle.
