IndyCar Driver Justin Wilson In Coma After Pocono Crash

(Long Pond, PA) - Ryan Hunter-Reay won a subdued finish at the ABC Supply 500.

The real story was Justin Wilson, who was airlifted from Pocono Raceway after being struck by a piece of flying debris following an accident by Sage Karam.

IndyCar released a statement on his condition saying "IndyCar driver Justin Wilson suffered a severe head injury during today's event at Pocono and is currently in a coma and in critical condition. He is undergoing further evaluation and Lehigh Valley Health Network. Our thoughts and prayers are with Wilson, his family and Andretti Autosport."
