(Indianapolis, IN) - As the Colts get to work at training camp first-round pick Phillip Dorsett is aware of the talent at the wide receiver position and says he’s not a “me first” player.
"I've never been a selfish guy, never been in my life. I will never demand the ball or be a "prima donna wide receiver", I want to earn respect and make plays when my number is called."
With the Colts placing Robert Mathis on the physically unable to perform list at the start of training camp Chuck Pagano says despite Mathis' goal to be out there when the regular season starts, the team isn't operating under the same timeline.
"We just have to stick to the process and be patient and tell him to slow down. We've got a long way to go. It's a long season."
