(Indianapolis, IN) - Colts’ general manager Ryan Grigson met with the media and said he feels the new contract extension with T.Y. Hilton was a “win-win” situation and says the team is prepared for upcoming negotiations with other players.
"We've been preparing for these days for a long time. We've been pretty vigilant and been on point with what we can spend, what will hamstring us in the future. We don't want to be in dire straits so if you want to sustain success long-term then you can't have tremendous holes in terms of your salary cap."
Grigson also noted that contract talks with Anthony Costanzo are "ongoing".
