(Pittsboro, IN) Jeff Gordon returned to the place he called home as he was honored in Pittsboro, Indiana yesterday with a parade and rally.
After the ceremony he talked about his initial reaction when he heard his family was moving to the Hoosier state.
"There was a lot of racing going on here, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway is here and it was going to give me the chance to do more racing myself so I was all in."
On the racetrack, NASCAR festivities get underway today with Sprint Cup and Xfinity Series practices.
