Report Released On Footballs Used In AFC Title Game

Last updated on Wednesday, May 6, 2015

(New York, NY) - A 243-page report released this afternoon by investigator Ted Wells deteremined that it was “more probable than not” the New England Patriots deliberately deflated footballs during the AFC Championship back in January against the Indianapolis Colts.

The report named locker room attendant Jim McNally and equipment assistant John Jastremski the main culprits, while also suggesting Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was "generally aware" of the activities.

The report also stated there was "no reason to suggest wrongdoing" from the likes of head coach Bill Belichick, head equipment manager Dave Schoenfeld, or Patriots owner Bob Kraft.

The NFL has yet to release a statement on what punishment the team might receive.
