Last updated on Tuesday, May 12, 2015

(New York, NY) - The NFL has suspended Patriots quarterback Tom Brady for the first four games of the upcoming season without pay for his role in the Deflate-gate controversy.

The Patriots organization was also levied a $1 million dollar fine and the loss of their 2016 1st round draft pick as well as a 2017 4th round pick.

Brady will miss games against Pittsburgh, Buffalo, Jacksonville and Dallas. Ironically, the first game Brady is eligible to return will be October 18th when the Patriots take on the Colts at Lucas Oil Stadium.

Equipment managers Jim McNally and John Jastermski have been suspended indefinitely without pay.
