(Indianapolis, IN) - The Pacers got a big lift from a returning Paul George as they hammered the Miami Heat 112-89.
PG-13 came off the bench to a standing ovation and tallied a fitting 13 points in his season debut.
Luis Scola led the Blue & Gold with a 23 point, 12 rebound double double while Miami's Dwyane Wade led all scorers with 27 points.
The win pushed the Pacers just a game behind the currently eighth seeded Boston Celtics. Indiana will look to make it three wins in a row when they next take on the Knicks in the Big Apple on Wednesday.
After the game, George talked about how he felt physically. "Not pain, more soreness. I knew that was going to happen. It was a little soreness, but not any pain."
