Pacers Playoff Hopes Remain Alive

Last updated on Tuesday, April 14, 2015

(Indianapolis, IN) - With the Pacers sitting idle on Monday night and the Brooklyn Nets getting crushed by the Chicago Bulls 113-86, the Pacers now sit in the driver’s seat of the eighth seed leading Brooklyn by half a game and controlling their playoff destiny.

The Blue & Gold's path is simple: win out and they're in.

Paul George was asked about the Pacers putting themselves in this down to the wire playoff battle. He said, "it's tough but that's what it came down to. We should've done a better job of taking care of games we should have won."

Meanwhile, C.J. Miles talked about how Indiana has been fighting all year for this opportunity to not only make the postseason but silence their critics. "Everybody thought everything was over with Paul George's injury and not re-signing Lance Stephenson but I think us getting this far signifies out mentality as a team and an organization."

The Pacers host the Wizards in the regular season home finale, tip off is at 8 p.m.
