Raiders Pick Up Trent Richardson

Last updated on Wednesday, March 18, 2015

(Indianapolis, IN) - Former Colts running back Trent Richardson has found what he calls his “last team” as he signed with the Oakland Raiders on Tuesday.

Richardson's tumultuous run in Indy ended last week when the team waived him, a move that Richardson countered by filing a grievance over the team's refusal to pay the $3.1 million dollar balance left on his rookie deal.

The Raiders reportedly inked Richardson to a two year deal worth close to $4 million dollars.

Meanwhile, a couple of other former Colts are among free agents who reportedly have had "little to no market" in free agency as Reggie Wayne and Hakeem Nicks are among aging veteran wide receivers who have reportedly not received any interest from teams since free agency opened up.
