Colts Expected To Pursue Ndamukong Suh

Last updated on Thursday, March 5, 2015

(Indianapolis, IN) - The Colts and Miami Dolphins are expected to make strong pushes for the services of defensive lineman Ndamukong Suh once free agency begins.

Suh is expected to be seeking a deal similar to or exceeding the $100 million dollar, $51 million guaranteed contract that Houston's J.J. Watt signed.

A source close to Suh said he has a "slight preference" to Miami but Indianapolis and Detroit aren't far behind.

The early negotiating window for free agency opens on Saturday.

Former Raiders safety Tyvon Branch made Indianapolis his first free agent visit on Wednesday.

Branch has only played in five games over the last two seasons due to leg and foot injuries.

The Colts are seeking an upgrade at the position after parting ways with LaRon Landry and with Mike Adams and Sergio Brown both unrestricted free agents.
