Stuckey Comfortable Coming Off Of Pacers Bench

Last updated on Tuesday, February 24, 2015

(Indianapolis, IN) - Most NBA players wouldn’t tell you they prefer coming off the bench but for the Pacers’ Rodney Stuckey, he’s the exception to the rule.

"I think I'm more comfortable coming off the bench and giving the team a lift."

Stuckey has been playing as good as anyone lately, landing in double figures the last five games. Stuckey has been the catalyst for the Pacers as they've won six of their last seven games.

Meanwhile, C.J. Miles thinks while the Pacers are still not fully the team they expected, he's liking where the team is headed.

"I like where we've been lately but its hard to judge exactly how good we are until we get (Paul George) back. I think when, and if that happens, we'll truly be the team we thought we could be."

With Sunday's win over the Golden State Warriors Frank Vogel tied legendary head coach Larry Brown for most all-time coaching wins for the Pacers organization with 190 wins. Vogel passes names like Larry Bird, Bob " Slick" Leonard and Rick Carlisle. With a win, Frank Vogel can sit alone atop the organization's record books.

While the Pacers prepare for their Tuesday game against the Oklahoma City Thunder, OKC will be without Kevin Durant.

Pacers/Thunder tips off at 8pm.
