(UNDATED) - Four separate sources say a New England Patriots locker room attendant attempted to introduce an unapproved special teams football into the AFC Championship game against the Colts.
The man accused is 48 year old Jim McNally, a decade long locker room employee for New England.
Officials knew something was suspicious when the ball he handed a referee didn't have the designated markings of a special teams football that was approved.
Ironically, this is the same game that started the Deflate-gate controversy.
