(Indianapolis, IN) - In a season that’s been hampered by injuries at times, the Pacers got some good news as Paul George returned to practice on Thursday.
George said he felt good but knows it's just one of many steps.
Frank Vogel said while its great to see George out there, he's a long ways away from game action. "I'm very happy for him because he's been having to just sit and watch a lot so to see him out there was encouraging but he's got a long way to go."
Asked about his target return date of mid-March Geroge said "I'm hopeful. But I also know what I have to go through personally and show the medical staff and organization before I'm back out there."
The Pacers host LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers tonight at 7pm.
