Mo Williams Drops 52 Points Against Pacers

Last updated on Wednesday, January 14, 2015

(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Pacers dropped their second game in a row to a team with a single digit win total.

The Minnesota Timberwolves took care of Indiana 110-101 behind guard Mo Williams' franchise record and career best 52 points. The 52 points by Williams was the most points by a player in the NBA this season.

After the game, a dejected Frank Vogel said, "We didn't have an answer for Williams. When someone is in the zone like that they are hard to stop and we couldn't do anything to slow him down."

Even T'Wolves head coach Flip Saunders couldn't believe Williams' performance saying, "I've been in the league 17 years and I've never seen someone get as hot as he did tonight. He did everything."

C.J. Miles led Indiana with 22 points and during the game Roy Hibbert was ejected after pulling down Gourgui Dieng by the back of the jersey.

The win snapped Minnesota's fifteen game losing streak. The Pacers hope to get out of their funk when they take on the Detroit Pistons on Friday.
