Colts Embracing Underdog Role

Last updated on Tuesday, January 6, 2015

(Indianapolis, IN) - The Colts know they are the underdogs heading in to their game against the Denver Broncos and safety Mike Adams say he’s fully embracing the underdog role.

"Even our own fans are picking the Broncos, which is fine. I've been an underdog my whole career so I embrace it because at the end of the day they (Denver) have to lace up their shoes just like we do."

Adams spent last season on Denver and says he's looking forward to seeing his former teammates but says, "We'll all be friends after the game but we all want to win on Sunday."

Meanwhile, Chuck Pagano confirmed rumors that the Oakland Raiders interviewed Colts offensive coordinator Pep Hamilton for their head coaching vacancy after Sunday's playoff game. Pagano had some fun with the interview process saying, "Do I want to lose a guy? No. So I hope it doesn't work out. I'm being selfish."
