(INDIANAPOLIS) The Pacers got some early Christmas cheer as George Hill made his season debut and Indiana earned a 96-84 win over the New Orleans Pelicans.
Hill made his presence known, leading Indiana with 15 points and four rebounds and three assists.
"He looked great out there. Both on the offense and defensively," said head coach Frank Vogel.
The Pelicans' Anthony Davis led all scorers with 21 points.
The Pacers had six players score in double figures. Indiana now gets the holiday off before heading to Detroit to take on the Pistons on Friday.
