Pacers Lose To Wizards In Overtime

(Washington, D.C.) - Make it four straight losses for the Pacers as they fell in overtime to the Washington Wizards 96-94 in the nation’s capital.

Washington's John Wall had 31 points along with 10 rebounds as he led the Wizards past Indiana by scoring seven points in the overtime periods.

For the Pacers, Donald Sloan had 31 points of his own while Chris Copeland recorded a double double with 19 points and 12 rebounds.

The Pacers drop to 1-4 and It's Indiana's worst five game start since 1996. The Pacers look to get back in the win column when they head to Boston on Friday to take on the Celtics.

Reports have the Pacers on the verge of signing former Dallas Mavericks' guard Gal Mekel to help fortify their injury riddled back court.
