(South Bend, IN) - Senior Wide receiver DaVaris Daniels will not return to Notre Dame this season.
The wideout and his father both confirmed on their respective Twitter accounts that while Daniels remains enrolled at Notre Dame he will not suit up for the Irish. Daniels is weighing his options including a move to the NFL or possibly returning to the Irish in 2015. Daniels was one of five Notre Dame players under investigation in the ongoing academic fraud probe.
Some good news for the Irish who got a commitment from pass rusher Bo Wallace. The six foot 3 215 pounder is expected to play defensive end for the Golden Domers and add a much needed pass rush ins the 2015 campaign.
Notre Dame faces a tough test this weekend when they head to the Sunshine State to take on the #2 ranked Florida State Seminoles. The Irish look to hand FSU their first loss since 2012.
