Dixon Goes Worst To First At Mid-Ohio

Last updated on Monday, August 4, 2014

(Steam Corners, OH) - Scott Dixon came from last to first to claim the Honda Indy 200 at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course Sunday.

Dixon, one of the best drivers in the history of the Ohio track, started last due to a tough qualifying effort in the rain Saturday. But the Target Chip Ganassi Racing driver grabbed his fifth career win at the track, and 34th overall in the series, tying him with Al Unser Junior for sixth all time.

Pole-sitter Sebastien Bourdais finished second. Will Power came home sixth, taking the points lead by four points over teammate Helio Castroneves, who struggled with a stuck throttle. Castroneves lost several laps early, and finished 19th.
