(Charlotte) - After missing out on Brownsburg native Gordon Hayward, the Charlotte Hornets may have their eye on another Indiana star.
The Charlotte Observer is reporting that the Hornets contacted Lance Stephenson's representatives Tuesday about a possible deal.
Stephenson was offered a 5-year, $44-million dollar contract from the Pacers, but still hadn't made a deal with the Blue & Gold.
Now it seems that Stephenson will sign with the Hornet.
The Charlotte Observer reported on Wednesday that Stephenson will sign a deal potentially worth three years and $27 million with the Charlotte Hornets, with the third season being a team option.
