Veteran Announcer Gary Lee Dead At 63

(Indianapolis) - Some very sad news from the world of racing this morning. Veteran announcer Gary Lee has passed away at the age of 63.

Lee and former driver, the late Larry Rice called the action on the famous Thursday and Saturday night Thunder shows on ESPN that helped give Jeff Gordon his first national exposure.

Lee also appeared on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Radio Network.
