(Toronto) - A rainy, disjointed weekend in Toronto ended up in a big day for IndyCar fans.
The series held two races on the streets of Canada's largest city, and both were won by small teams based in Indianapolis.
In race one, Sebastien Bourdais won his first open-wheel race since 2007 when he was dominating in the former Champ Car circuit. Bourdais led 58 of the 65 laps en route to his 32nd win which moved him into 8th all time.
In the second race, rain once again intervened, before road course ringer Mike Conway won his second race of the year for Ed Carpenter Racing. Conway held off Tony Kanaan in a three-lap shootout set up by a late-race red-flag.
In the championship fight, Helio Castroneves continues to lead the standings, holding a 13-point gap over teammate Will Power with four races remaining.
