(Indianapolis, IN) - Mother nature played a role again yesterday at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway but drivers were still able to get some laps in on the 2.5 mile oval.
Simon Pagenaud topped the speed charts at 226.122 MPH. JR Hildebrand was 225.854 while Scott Dixon hit 225.494 to place 2nd and 3rd in speeds.
Eight drivers were over 225 MPH in Wednesday's short practice.
