(INDIANAPOLIS) - The number 1 seeded Indiana Pacers were the dominant team yesterday, as they beat the Miami Heat 107-96 in game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

Defending their home court the Pacers led by as many as 19 points, in a game which they never trailed.

Paul George led a balanced attack with 24 points, while every other Pacers starter finished with 15 or more points, and C.J Watson contributed off the bench with 11 points.

The Pacers shot a blistering 60% from the field through most of the first 3 quarters, before cooling off to 51% on the night, including 8-19 from behind the arc.

Its the first time this post-season the Pacers have won game 1, and its just the second time the Heat have lost this year in the playoffs.
