(Miami, FL) - First place in the Eastern Conference is on the line tonight as the Indiana Pacers are in Miami to take on the second-place Heat.

The Pacers regained first place on Wednesday night when their reserves pulled out a two-point win in Milwaukee on Chris Copeland's basket with just over a second remaining.

While the Blue and Gold were edging the Bucks, the Heat were losing at Memphis.

Indiana has taken two of three from Miami this season and would clinch the tiebreaker advantage with a win tonight.

Indiana head coach Frank Vogel said following Sunday's blowout loss to Atlanta that he would rest his starters over the final four games. Vogel gave his starters Monday and Tuesday off from practice and none of them played in Milwaukee.

The Pacers starters returned to practice on Thursday and all are expected to play tonight.

Wednesday night's win was just Indiana's fourth win in the last twelve games and ended a six-game road losing streak.

Miami enters tonight's contest with problems of its own. The Heat have dropped three of their last four, including losing two of their last three home games.

All-Star guard Dwyane Wade has not played since Miami's 84-83 loss to the Pacers at Bankers Life Fieldhouse on March 26th due to a hamstring injury.

Chris Anderson and Greg Oden also missed the Memphis game due to injury while Udonis Haslem sat out with a stomach virus.
